There is a famous saying which goes, “What you see is not
always reality. Sometimes what you don't see emerges as reality but to perceive
this invisible reality, you need a profound level of understanding."
The evolution of few Jatiyatabadi forces in Assam was initially focused against illegal infiltrators but in recent years, their actions share more closeness to the fraternity of urban Naxal ecosystem. To understand this in a better way, you need to understand the modus operandi of how urban Naxal ecosystem works. As stated in the urban perspective document of Naxals, it proposes the creation of frontline organizations like student organizations to influence the young students with their superficial agenda, using them as tools and weapons against the democratic system drawing sentiments using student identity, blackmailing systems to bend on certain demand which threatens the democratic essence of nation.
The recent actions of such Jatiyatabadi forces manifest that on one hand they talk about believing in the judicial system of this nation and on the other hand they use their voice in support of Akhil Gogoi who is in judicial custody after Guwahati high court suspended his bail application in allegations of links with Maoist or Naxals. Akhil Gogoi is facing serious charges under UAPA to incite people and war against Indian democratic establishments and the matter is sub-judice now but still a few days back, the leaders of these Jatayatabadi clan demanded the release of Akhil Gogoi.
Did such Jatiyatabadi forces forget that Akhil Gogoi
is the same man who had protested in support of those who had illegally
encroached land in Kaziranga in Assam? In 2012, under the veil of farmer's
right, Akhil Gogoi had arranged a large scale protest demanding the government
to grant ownership of forest land to illegal encroachers. This protest later
turned violent and a man identified as
Pranab Boro had set himself on fire. This is yet another example which
suits the pattern of urban Naxals agenda to spread anarchy and wage civil war
against the democratic and "fascist" regime as stated in urban
perspective document of 2004.
It is one thing for these Jatiyatabadis to try and discredit the current government but to insult the integrity of the country and state's judicial system is simply unconstitutional.
Did such Jatiyatabadi forces bow down
to the Islamists Sharjeel Imam who reportedly went on hunger
strike demanding the release of Akhil Gogoi? Sharjeel Imam is the same
person who during anti-CAA Islamists protest gave a call to cut-off northeast and Assam from rest of India.
Did these forces also stand in support of the statement of Akhil Gogoi during
anti- CAA protest where he had publicly cautioned that if CAA will be enacted
as law, then Assam will step out of the union of India
which is a brazen display of propagating separatism and secessionist
voices?
Unfortunately, the romanticism of these Jatiyatabadi
forces for Akhil Gogoi and the left cabal is such, that they had willfully
disregarded the fact that Akhil Gogoi also has close links to Yogendra Yadav
whom Delhi police have Chargsheeted in the anti-Hindu Delhi riots case
which had taken away the lives of many innocents. These all are sufficient
instances to point that these Jatiyatabadis now appears to be the part
of an ecosystem which propagates the idea of urban Naxals in the veil of social
messiahs.
The core idea of Naxals is always to
roadblock development and produce a narrative globally which would impede the
economic development of people and region to promote the civil unrest against
democratic establishments. The same we saw a few months back when protest led
by few Jatiyatabadi forces and other left ecosystem had shut their eyes
to the facts on CAA and strived to convince that CAA is against the interest of
Assamese community. This resulted in misinformed civilian protests and Assam lost the larger opportunity of propping economic investments
from Japan.
One has to understand that urban Naxals are
not equipped with arms; instead, they use intellectualism and social services
to advance their hidden agenda which pose a threat to national security.
From
such Jatiyatabadis to Akhil Gogoi to Sharejeel Imam to Yogendra Yadav to
few intellectuals. If you connect these unseen dots, you will view a different
and dangerous network of rising urban Naxals in Assam to whom it seems these
few Jatiyatabadi forces becoming their new face.
