Rahul Gandhi claims China took away India's land. Read why he is right till 2013

The tensions between India and China is surging high after the recent clash between the two nations at Line of Actual Control of Galwan valley in Ladakh. Amidst all, the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is hurling questions on government and is frequently claiming about China acquiring the land of India.
He took this to his twitter handle to and wrote “China killed our soldiers. China took our land”.
If one evaluates the statement of Rahul Gandhi from historical perspective, then his claims would appear strong and legitimate. Here in this article, I would present the timelines which strengthens the claim of Rahul Gandhi.

● All starts from 1962, the year when India had lost Aksai Chin of Ladakh to China. This land is as big as Switzerland which we lost to China in 1962. This land which today is under Chinese territory where China has constructed Xinjiang-Tibet highway which now has emerged as a strategic threat to the national security of India. Evidently, after losing this land to China, that time PM of India Pandit Nehru had mentioned this land as barren and of no use for India.
● In 1980, China had encroached into the 45-Km long Skakjung pastureland of Ladakh.
●Earlier Ladakh border was positioned at Kegu Naro which now is limited to Dumchele due to the
encroachment of China in between 1980-2013.
●In the year 1984, China had captured Nagstang in Ladakh followed by Nakung in 1991. Similarly,
in the next year 1992 India lost Lungma-Serding to Chinese intrusion.
●In the year 2013, during the 21-day Depsang stand-off, China invaded deep 18-19 Km inside Indian Territory and had set up their remote camps. The same year, Shyam Saran report in August submitted to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh revealed that India had lost around whopping 640 sq. KM of land to China in just few months.
●The Manmohan Singh government in 2013 refuted this report but this was exposed when Chinese troops had deprived Indian troops to patrol Rakinala near Daulat-Beg-Olde which was once an Indian territory. Interestingly, Rakinala was the same place where Indian Air Force had constructed the world largest air landing strip in 2008 but this area was lost to Chinese intrusion in 2013.
All these historical events proves the claim made by Rahul Gandhi as correct but whatever land India lost was in between 1962-2013.
