Don’t defend Tablighi Jamaat. Dare to question them

The whole nation today is battling against the pandemic of COVID-19. Everyone from the government to administration are putting every possible effort to keep this deadly virus in check. Everything was moving in proper direction until the fiasco of Tablighi Jamaat came out. After the Tablighi incident, the cases began to surge everywhere in the nation which speaks of their negative contribution. Today 1/3rd of the total cases in our nation are associated with the incident of Jamaat.
If you think this organization only made a blunder in India then you must know that the same organization had held a conference in Malaysia in between 27 Feb-1 March. Today half the cases of COVID-19 in Malaysia are associated with them. But ironically, some people are attempting to whitewash this blunder by coining the narrative that it is just another mistake under negligence and the media is unnecessarily raking this issue. Had their been negligence, I would have shown sympathy towards them but they did all these when the laws prohibiting any gathering was in full force. What Tableeghi people did was not an act of negligence, it appears as an intentional attempt to put the safety of the nation at risk. Those who are defending them with the umbrella of mistake may have not listened to the audio of Malauna Saad, the local head of this radical organization where he asks the attendees to flout the social distancing norms and terms this as a conspiracy against Islam. If this statement is not a deliberate attempt to spread the virus then what is it? This is a clear instance of Islamic fundamentalism which this group have been propagating since long where radical beliefs comes before nation and humanity.
Their radical beliefs have exposed all of us to a larger risk of contamination, from Assam to Telangana to the Andamans.
This outfit and their attendees have not only acted against the laws, but they have also acted against humanity which they claim to teach in their Markaz. All this was done in the name of Islam but now when questions are being put in from of them, some propaganda experts are calling it as an obsession with Islamophobia. However, the same ignorant propagandist seems under the grip of a phobia where they are quick enough to paint any discussion against radical elements among minorities as an attack over the secular structure of our nation.
According to several reports, the group which was responsible for hijacking Indian Airlines were the members of this same Islamic organization. As per WikiLeaks, they also had links to 9/11 attacks. Can we still defend such group just for appeasement and look secular?
These defenders are very unhappy with media too and believe that media is fuelling communal divide but they cheer for the same media when they hold long hours of discussion on mob lynchings. If minorities can be portrayed with victim cards then they will have to answer questions too when the COVID-19 cases are ballooning because of their radical and ignorant beliefs.
Defending their criminal and inhumane act is quite an absurdity. This needs to be stopped now.
